They say that anything is possible with enough coffee. I must say I agree!
Especially if that coffee is a yummy Vietnamese cappuccino served at just the right temperature.
Like the majority of busy working people nowadays, I find myself craving a good cup of coffee at least once a day. One of my favorite places to have my coffee in Novi Sad is definitely Loft. When imported coffee started becoming popular in Novi Sad, Loft was one of the first cafes to introduce different types of imported coffee. At first, people were a bit confused, but the lovely baristas and waiters at Loft helped by explaining the similarities and differences between the coffee types.
Soon enough, people adopted the new trend and now everyone has their favorite type! Whether you like a stronger kick or a more mild taste, you’ll be able to find something that suits you.
My choice for the day was Vietnamese double espresso with no milk. I was in need of some serious pick-me-up so that sounded like a dream. It came and almost had a dark oily look – very promising.
At first sip it was obvious that this was no regular cup of coffee – the flavor was intense and full, exactly what you would need on a gloomy November morning. The taste was rich and clearly different from your everyday cappuccino. Needless to say, I did not regret my decision and I think I found my new favorite!
If you are a serious coffee lover, Loft is definitely the place for you. Apart from the rich taste of coffee, the ambient is so warm and welcoming, with warm dimmed light that helps the cozy atmosphere. The tables are just the right size, so even if you choose to have a cup of coffee with your friends, there won’t be any elbowing at the table.
Another great thing is that they offer food as well! Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet with your coffee, such as a Nutella croissant for a full Italian experience or if you’re up for a proper meal, Loft won’t disappoint.
I recommend their breakfast menu and their Egg and Bacon sandwich. It is truly one of the best things I’ve had recently and that says a lot since breakfast is my favorite meal of the day!
You can find Loft at four different locations in Novi Sad – in the city center (Njegoševa 2), in Promenada Mall (at the rooftop), at the Campus (Stražilovska 37) and as of recently, they opened a new location at Futoški put 93b. Wherever you find yourself, there’s a Loft cafe close by!
If you’re interested to browse their menu and learn more about them before visiting, you can do so on their website which is also offered in English – https://loftcafe.rs/
