10 days until EXIT Festival 2019!
Did you know that there are as many as 40 different stages set all around the Petrovaradin Fortress during the EXIT Festival? Each stage offers a different music genre so that absolutely everyone can enjoy the spectacle to their heart’s content. Of course, you can go from one stage to another and stay however long you want – the choice is all yours! But, there are several stages that are considered the most popular and the majority of visitors hang around them. So, let’s get to know more about these creme de la creme EXIT stages.
Main Stage isn’t called Main for nothing. This is the place reserved for the most anticipated music performers for the year. And it’s probably one of the rare stages where there’s absolutely no genre limit. You can truly expect anything as long as the name is really big. This year, the Mian Stage will feature The Cure, Skepta, DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers, Greta Van Fleet, Chase & Status RTRN II Jungle, Tom Walker, Desiigner, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, IAMDDB, Sofi Tukker, DubFX, Griz, Lost Frequencies, etc.
As the name suggests, Dance Arena is the place to move those hips all night long. Listen, you can still enjoy the positive madness even if you’re not the best dancer but there’s absolutely no way that the beat and the people dancing all around you will leave you indifferent. Soon enough you’ll find yourself coming up with your own dancing moves. One of the main characteristics of this stage is that people often get to welcome the morning sun precisely here, so don’t miss the spectacle if you plan to party all night this EXIT Festival. Carl Cox, Paul Kalkbrener, Solomun, Tale of Us, Jeff Mills, Adriatique, Amelie Lens, Boris Brejcha, Charlotte De Witte, Dax J, Maceo Plex, Peggy Gou, Satori Live, etc. will keep the rhythm alive!
No Sleep Novi Sad
Again, the name says it all. There’s no sleep for the wicked, or for the clubbing music lovers in this case. Party the night away with the sounds of MMA – Mixed Munich Arts, Sao Paulo’s D-Edge, Bassiani from Georgia and the globally-beloved party All Day I Dream. Arriving under their banners are Blawan, DVS1, Lee Burridge, Sébastien Léger, 999999999 Live, Boston 168 Live, Giorgia Angiuli, I Hate Models, Jasss, Newman, Renato Ratier, Yokoo and more.
One of the funkiest EXIT stages is undoubtedly the Fusion Stage. It’s also one of those stages that can’t be characterized by just one music genre. It will always surprise you with something different. This year, you can expect Tarja, The Selecter, Atheist Rap, Bad Copy, Bassivity Showcase, Sajsi MC, Eyesburn, Svemirko, The K’s, Who See, Zvonko Bogdan, Raiven, etc.
You probably won’t be surprised to hear that the amazing Explosive Stage is reserved for the heavier sound. So, if you’re a fan of metal, rock, punk and other HC sounds, this is a place for you. Whitechapel, Arcturus, Soilwork, Entombed A.D, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Booze & Glory, Total Chaos, Das Ich, Enforcer, October Tide, Vitamin X, Grade 2, Siberian Meat Grinder and many others will make this EXIT Festival a truly explosive experience.
Another unique gem among the EXIT Stages is definitely Cockta Beats, named after the popular Serbian sweet fizzy drink Cockta. While you need to try it on your visit, you may be interested in sticking around this stage a bit more if you’re a fan of hip-hop and trap sound. Hazze, High5, Krankšvester, Vojko V (absolute daddy material, don’t miss this), Krešo Bengalka, Black Serbs, Bekfleš and other performers will get you in the groove.
There’s no party like the bass party! If you’re a fan of good bass, there’s really nothing else that needs saying aside from the fact that this stage is made for you. This year you can enjoy some crazy bass lines with Technimatic, Turno, Gydra, Bass Fighter, Codex, Critical Bass, Drop Sensei, Fa11out, Frisk. Etc.
